... Update on Lynette Schurman, as of Wednesday,

Lynette is doing great and has now been transferred
to the Emilie Gamelin Pavilion, connected with St Peter Providence
Hospital in Olympia.... room 5A. She expects to be there several
weeks, and is anxious to get started on her rehab program. Her
spirits are good and has been so happy to speak with those of you
who've called.

Hi everyone....
I'm so sad to report that Lynette Schurman had a
stroke last Tuesday evening, Aug 28. She is in ICU at Capital Medical
Center, Olympia, and expects to be there another week. She is now
paralyzed on her left side, however she (and all of her friends and
family) are praying that with therapy, she'll regain use of everything.
Her brother tells me that the doctors expect following her stay in the
Hospital, she'll possibly go into a rehabilitation facility, though no
specific plans have been set up.
I spoke with Lynette this AM and she indicated that
she'd love to have cards, notes, and etc. She is accepting calls, though
it's sometimes difficult to get through, since she can't always get to
the phone when located elsewhere in the room.
Mail should be sent to Lynette's home, her family will
deliver her mail to her...
